About the facilitators:

Kira Ostwald – Oshun Retreat
Kira loves to move, and barely ever sits still. A hairdresser in the daytime and a Yogini by night, she is always moving and loves it! Meditation helps her to find stillness, in the mind and the body; and she loves a Vinyasa just as much as a Nidra session. Balance is the essence of life. She loves to take students through a journey of breath, meditation and movement. She began Oshun to help others find their true path, connecting mind, body and spirit.

Rasha Tayeh – Beit e’Shai
Rasha is a nutritionist, herbalist, artist and mystic. Her practice is inspired by the seasons and ways in which we can enhance connections with our bodies, our communities and with nature. She combines principles of nutrition and herbalism in her wellness workshops.
Rasha is the owner and founder of Beit e’Shai (House of Tea in Arabic, pronounced bayt eh shy). Informed by her ancestor’s wisdom and drawing on her knowledge and appreciation of traditional Arabic medicine and Palestinian herbalism, Rasha creates aromatic teas and herbal medicines that focus on health, wellbeing and comfort.

Beit e’Shai and Oshun Retreat acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of this land on which we live and work, and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging. We reflect in our work that Ancestral medicine and traditional herbalism bring deep healing to people and Mother Earth.
