About the facilitators:

Kira Ostwald – Oshun Retreat
Kira loves to move, and barely ever sits still. A hairdresser in the daytime and a Yogini by night, she is always moving and loves it! Meditation helps her to find stillness, in the mind and the body; and she loves a Vinyasa just as much as a Nidra session. Balance is the essence of life. She loves to take students through a journey of breath, meditation and movement. She began Oshun to help others find their true path, connecting mind, body and spirit.

Rasha is the owner and founder of Beit e’Shai (House of Tea in Arabic, pronounced bayt eh shy). Informed by her ancestor’s wisdom and drawing on her knowledge and appreciation of traditional Arabic medicine and Palestinian herbalism, Rasha creates aromatic teas and herbal medicines that focus on health, wellbeing and comfort.

Magical March

March began with International Women’s Day!

I would like to take this chance, over a cuppa tea, to honour all the goddesses, matriarchs and fierce women who have guided and inspired me this lifetime.  Below is an image of Ishtar (also known as Inanna in ancient Mesopotamian mythology). She is associated with love, beauty, sex, desire, fertility, war, justice, political power and the underworld. Keep shining and reconnecting with your divinity. Happy women’s Day!

I also want to take this time to give thanks to our Mother.
Mother Earth, who teaches us, guides us and heals us with beautiful herbs.

Magical Herbalism

I believe in magic!  And I’m very excited about this month’s workshop.
I’ve been invited to host a magical workshop at one of my all time favourite stores, SpellBox.

In a workshop titled The Witch’s Brew, I will prepare different organic herbal infusions and discuss their healing and magickal powers, ritual and lore.  To book your place visit this link.
